The company celebrated its 75th anniversary at the ‘HELDDays’ from 26 to 27 September 2024. The highlight was the premiere of the new generation of machines - the result of many years of development work.
On Thursday, 26 September 2024, the ‘Business Day’, customers from all over the world were guests. On Friday, 27 September 2024, the company organised an open day to which business partners, (local) politicians, the press, schools, THW and the fire brigade as well as the whole family, friends and acquaintances were invited.
Highlights of the HELDDays are summarised in the video below.
What HELD had to offer on its day of honour on 27.09.2024
Managing Directors Till Held and Matthias Fisel opened the big stage show.
Ina Pollak then took over the moderation of the varied stage programme. Numerous well-known faces gave welcoming speeches. These included Mayor Susanne Irion, Town Councillor Wolfgang Schoch, Ernst Burgbacher (former Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology), Philipp Hilsenbek (Head of Location Policy at the Schwarzwald-Baar Chamber of Industry and Commerce) and Ortwin Guhl (former Chairman of the Board at Kreissparkasse Tuttlingen). Timo Geiges presented the new generation of machines, which were then unveiled live in the Technology Park after Timo Boll and the management ‘pressed the buzzer’.
After the ceremonial unveiling of ‘HAILEY’, visitors had the opportunity to take a detailed look behind the scenes at HELD in a guided company tour.
Further highlights were provided by Timo Boll, who was available to sign autographs and invited visitors to play a game of table tennis. HELD fun was also guaranteed - whether at the wheel of fortune, on the bouncy castle or on the climbing wall. There was also plenty of food and drink thanks to the coffee van, food truck and ice cream van.
